|Second ship of the Carnival Conquest serie evolved from the highly successful design of the Carnival Destiny (1996). The Conquest serie based on “Destiny” design is extended by adding half a deck of cabins at the forepart, and lengthened by about 15 metres.|

The ship also got a new Circle "C" facility for 12- to 14- year olds, 18 new balcony cabins (made by reconfiguring existing ocean view cabins) and a new Mongolian wok station at its casual poolside restaurant.
