CARONIA

Cunard Line - United Kingdom a Carnival Corp. company. Third ship to bear this name. Original name VISTAFJORD and built for the defunct NORWEGIAN - AMERICA LINE. In 1983 Cunard Line take-over the NAL. The sisterships  Vistafjord and  Sagafjord became part of Cunard.
Renamed by Cunard in 1999 into CARONIA. The Sagafjord sold to Saga Holidays in 1997 and renamed as Saga Rose and still sailing under the same name.

Gross Tonnage: 24.492 - Built: 1973 at Swan Hunter Shipbuilders in the UK. Number of passengers based on 2: 677. 

The Caronia  purchased by Saga Holidays for delivery in nov.2004.  New name "SAGA RUBY"
