 Nov. 20-2009 Hapag-Lloyd Cruises extended its year-round charter contract for Columbus, owned by the Munich-based Conti Reederei.
Febr.28-2011 Hapag-Lloyd Cruises will be taking MS COLUMBUS out of its fleet one year earlier than planned, by mutual agreement with Conti, the Munich based group of companies and owner of the ship. All cruises offered up to May 2012 will be taking place on the COLUMBUS as scheduled. The ship is to be replaced in spring 2012 by COLUMBUS 2. The former INSIGNIA* of Oceania Cruises. On bareboat charter to Hapag lloyd 2012-2014

Conti Charter ship to Italian Ligabue from may 2012. Ligabue arrange sub-charter to German Plantours & Partner. Enter service june 2012 under new name HAMBURG
