A sistership Costa
Olympia was schelduled for delivery in
1998 however, due to shipyard bankruptcy never completed for
Costa.
The uncompleted hull was sold to
Norwegian Cruise Line and completed at Lloyd Werft as Norwegian
Sky.

| Febr. 2004 - Costa Victoria just before leaving the Lloyd Werft in Bremerhaven - Germany. In a month-long rebuild, 246 balconies were added to the accommodations on Decks 9, 10, & 11 along with extending the buffet terrace and adding promenades on Deck 11. |
