Environmental measures: The vessel will have a range of eco-friendly features, including advanced water treatment (AWT) systems, which will remove pollutants and hazardous substances from waste-water, garbage treatment plants for highly-efficient solid waste management and antifouling paints. Two hybrid scrubber systems from Wärtsilä have been fitted in the forward engine room.

Affording the ship unusually large amounts of deck space for the passengers to enjoy. Additionally, a unique sea-level promenade will be incorporated, utilising cantilever technology and featuring a large theatre, terraced balcony and panoramic views from an external passenger lift to the upper deck.
Other technologically advanced features include glass deflectors and tunnel technology that will give diners indoors the experience of dining al fresco. This has been implemented to take advantage of the warm weather routes that are being targeted by MSC. Boasting 14.000 m2 of public space, among MSC Seaside’s distinctive features are found at the aft of the vessel which sports two panoramic lifts offering sea views and spanning seven decks which are joined at the top by a 30 mtr glass-bottom walkway.The wooden lanai provides access to shops, bars and alfresco dining as well as featuring two suspended 40mtr-long glass walkways that extend over the port and starboard side of the vessel, as part of the promenade.
Nine eateries (five of which are specialty dining venues) feature cuisines from all around the world and include two extra-fee restaurants on Deck 16 created in partnership with acclaimed chef Roy Yamaguchi: Asian Market Kitchen by Roy Yamaguchi will feature a la carte-style Pan-Asian area, as well as sushi bar, while Teppanyaki by Roy Yamaguchi, will feature traditional hibachi Asian. There will also be am extra-fee luxury seafood restaurant called Ocean Cay Restaurant with a chef's table and am extra-fee American steakhouse called Butcher's Cut.
The included-in-the-fare Biscayne Bay Buffet & Pizzeria will be a dedicated family buffet on Deck 16 offering a variety of popular kids' favorites. The ship's two main dining rooms will be the Seashore Restaurant and Ipanema Restaurant, while the buffet will be the Marketplace Buffet.
There will also be a MSC Yacht Club Restaurant at the top of the ship for Yacht Club passengers.
Passengers can also quench their thirst at a choice of 20 bars and lounges. Highlights are the Atmospheric Comedy Club and the Venchi Cioccogelateria & Coffee Bar, created in partnership with chocolatier Venchi and featuring an open kitchen so cruisers can watch confections being made. Other bars to check out will include the Champagne Bar, Sports Bar, and South Beach Bar.
The Forest Aquaventure and Adventure Park includes five waterslides: An interactive Slideboarding tube,In keeping with its outdoor theme, alfresco spa and fitness facilities will be available, including spaces for open-air spa treatments. The ship will also offer the longest (426-foot/130-meter) zipline at sea.
A pool with a magrodome roof means swimming even in poor weather. Other pools will include the South Beach Pool on Deck 7 and the Miami Beach Pool on Deck 16.
The exclusive MSC Yacht Club will be enhanced and provide a private solarium, lounge and pool. Accommodations have an open, 'modular' design that can connect to sleep up to 10 people. The suites offer hot tubs and hanging gardens. Other accommodations includes terraced balcony suites with sea view plus an extended balcony area that overlooks the promenade deck and provides space for two loungers each, plus suites with hot tubs and family suites
