Brief description:
Seabourn Ovation is the second of two new Seabourn cruise ships that will expand on the design of its Odyssey class of ship. Debuting in spring 2018.
Seabourn Ovation's 300 cabins will be suites with private balconies, ranging from almost 27,87 m2. for a standard verandah suite to more than 120,7 m2. for the Wintergarden Suite. Balconies range from 6,8 to 18,6 m2., varying by cabin category. The nautical-themed cabins incorporate plenty of mahogany wood. All-marble bathrooms feature a modern design, separate tub and shower, double sinks and Molton Brown bath products. Suites offer a comfortable seating area, in-suite bar setup, walk-in closets and a personal "suite stewardess" who can replenish your ensuite bar, draw you a bath and assist with special requests.
Penthouse Suites offer passengers the option to close off a glass wall to separate the bedroom from the living room space. The Owner's Suite features separate sleeping and living areas (with a dining table for four) and an extra half bath for guests. The Signature Suite takes the luxury up a notch with dinner seating for up to six, a pantry with wet bar, forward-facing windows and a whirlpool bath. The Wintergarden Suite wows passengers with a glass-enclosed solarium with a tub and day bed.
Like its Odyssey-class sisters, Seabourn Ovation will have multiple restaurants. Venues will include the Restaurant, the main sit-down dining venue with open seating for all three meals; the Colonnade for casual dining with a mix of buffet and a la carte offerings; the Patio Grill for outdoor dining poolside at lunch and dinner; Seabourn Square for cafe offerings like pastries, sandwiches, coffee and gelato; and room service -- including anytime selections and in-suite delivery of the Restaurant's menu items during dinner.
The Club on Deck 5 is another lounge for music, dancing and socializing. With nautically inspired decor, the space houses a bar featuring custom-crafted cocktails and wine and a casino with slot machines and tables for blackjack and roulette. The Club leads out to the Club Terrace, an alfresco space with a plunge pool, two whirlpools, fountains (illuminated at night) and deck service for ordering food and drink.
The top deck Observation Bar will be given a skylight and a stunning central design of a school of fish.
On the ship's top deck, The Retreat will be a covered area with 15 cabanas available for rent, priced at $350 per day. The area features a hot tub, bar, sun loungers, spa cabana and food and drink service.
Seabourn Ovation, like its fleetmates, features a water sports marina at the back of the ship offering free use of kayaks, pedal boats and windsurfers.
