Carnival Cruise Line ships collided this morning in
Cozumel, Mexico as the bow of the Legend came into
contact with the stern of the 2003-built Glory, leaving
visible damage to the latter vessel. The Carnival Glory
will be repaired during her turnaround day in New
Orleans on Dec. 22, according to a statement from
Carnival Cruise Line following the Friday between the
Carnival Legend.
Febr. 14-2010 Carnival Glory has emerged from a multi-week makeover that saw the addition of an adults-only retreat area and a giant 270 sq.feet poolside LED screen. The ship also got a new Circle "C" facility for 12- to 14- year olds, 18 new balcony cabins (made by reconfiguring existing ocean view cabins) and a new Mongolian wok station at its casual poolside restaurant. Bow-to-stern Wi-Fi access was added, as well.
