Carnival Corporation have announced that the Golden Princess will
transfer from Princess Cruises to P&O-Australia in oct.2020 instead of
Carnival Splendor which
was set to transfer to P&O Australia in late 2019,
which will now stay with the Carnival Cruise Line brand. New Name: PACIFIC ADVENTURE Start operaton in 2020. |

April 18 - 2009 The Golden Princess arrives at the Graving Dock of Victoria Shipyards in Esquimalt. The ship's casino is changing decks and other work includes 30 more passenger cabins. New features, including a new piazza-style atrium, an adults-only Sanctuary, a Movies Under the Stars poolside movie screen, a new Crown Grill steak and seafood restaurant, and a variety of other enhancements.The Golden Princess leaves the yard on May 5. |
