| March 10-2013 Hurtigruten ship Kong Harald hit an underground rock and was grounded outside Trollfjord in Norway at 11:30 p.m. Monday. The vessel took in water and had to wait for the tide to rise to be taken off the rock and then sailed directly to Svolvaer, according to the company. The ship was carrying 258 passengers, 16 from the UK. The situation on board was calm and all passengers have now disembarked, Hurtigruten reported Tuesday morning.Kong Harald will sail to the shipyard in Fiskarstrand for repairs. |
