The new Norwegian Encore now has her trademark hull art. Eduardo Arranz-Bravo, the Spanish artist, created the hull artwork for the fourth and final ship of its Breakaway-Plus class.  A representation of his modern and abstract style, the ship’s hull will feature a "labyrinth of color" inspired by Arranz-Bravo’s life by the sea in Barcelona and pay tribute to the vibrant guest experience for which the Norwegian brand is recognized, the company said.

Brief Description:
The largest race track in the cruise industry, two-level racetrack stretching nearly 350 m., with 10 turns and four points that extend up to 4 m.over the side of the ship. Further upgrades include a covered viewing area in the center of the track where participants can provide passing go-karts with an additional turbo boost by tagging them with a laser beam. the new Onda by Scarpetta, enhanced Galaxy Pavilion and open-air laser tag attractions, and the at-sea debut of the Tony Award®-winning Kinky Boots.

Norwegian Encore is the first ship in the company to be free of plastic water bottles.  NCL expects to break out as the first major cruise line to eliminate plastic bottles across its entire fleet.

Norwegian Encore will also feature the Galaxy Pavilion, a more than 930 m2 indoor virtual reality complex that debuted on Norwegian Joy. It has cutting-edge technology and interactive gaming, with multisensory virtual experiences, simulators and an escape room

We’re happy to deliver another world-class ship to Norwegian Cruise Line,” said Tim Meyer, managing partner of Meyer Werft. “We are extremely proud of our partnership of over 16 years and honored to have been part of Norwegian Cruise Line’s most successful class of ships. We are confident that Norwegian Encore will continue the Company’s legacy of exceeding the expectations of its guests.”

Many technical measures to protect the environment ensure passengers can enjoy a lovely holiday while at the same time showing responsibil-ity for the environment, illustrated clearly by features including the electric pod propulsion drive and improved hydrodynamics, together with many energy sav-ing systems such as heat recovery or extensive water cleaning systems. The exhaust gas from energy-efficient engines is cleaned in a special scrubber system.
